My library won't load. It loaded for years. Then I got a ton of error messages and now it won't load at all. Help.

    Hi there,

    sorry it took this long!

Unfortunately Pixa is no longer developed so I have only a couple of solutions I can offer:

    1. it seems that the database got somehow corrupted, I can try to fix it so you can get Pixa working again, but if it happens again I can't guarantee that someone else will repair it later.

    2. we have a Pixa exporter that will extract all your images from the library and save them in a Folder.

For 1) you need to send all the storedata* files located at ~/Library/Container/net.shinyfrog.pixamac/Data/Pixa.pxlibrary and I'll try to recover your database (this are only metadata files, no images will be sent to me)

for 2) you can download this small app:

You'll need to open the app with right-click open because it's a bit old, but after that you should be able to locate your library (~/Library/Container/net.shinyfrog.pixamac/Data/Pixa.pxlibrary) and export all your images.

Let me know what you would like to to.

    Hi Matteo -

Thank you for getting back to me. I went for option two - I was able to get
the images out of the library, now to reorganize in the new app.
