Having tested Bear for a day now, here's what I'm hoping to see in future versions:

  1. Ability to add tags to a number of selected notes in one go
  2. Ability to save searches in the same sidebar as tags are in (for instance, a "-@untagged" search)
  3. Ability to semi-permanently hide notes with a certain tag (assumes 1, above). Unhiding all hidden notes could be done through a menu command. Goal is to reduce clutter in the main notes list.
  4. Full MMD support: footnotes. All inline, please![^Like so]
  5. Full MMD support: references. Now the hash being used for tags makes using MMD references [][#AuthorsName] impossible.

    1. is currently possible. Select the notes to tag and then drag and drop them onto the tag in the sidebar.

    Hi,

    1. As Jim suggested and soon will be also available on iOS 11
    2. Save searches is something we are considering, but they are not top priority
    3. I think we'll solve this with the Archive
    4. Yes, footnotes are in our todo list
    5. We don't have a real plan for references yet, but I'm open to taking them in consideration.
