Numbered list reordering seems to be broken…

Something has changed recently with numbered list creation/renumbering. I used to be able to have mixed lists (meaning numbered lists with bulleted children), like:

  1. something
    • something's child
  2. something else
    • something else's child
  3. something altogether different

When I did this before, the numbered items would continue to be properly numbered. So whenever I added a new numbered item, like between #'s 1 and 2, the list would reorder. Same thing when adding a bulleted item. Now when I do this, the list numbering starts over at 1 for whatever was below the inserted item.

I tested this on a new note too, and the results are the same: in a mixed list, anything after the inserted item are renumbered to 1.

    Hi Scott,

this is fascinating, I think you were using an unintended numbered list behaviour ( bug? ).
Yes, we make some changes because we corrected a bug which will cause numbering changes when line above a list is edited, but the behaviour you mentioned seems what we were aiming to achive.

You can change the list number ( 1 in your case ) by editing it. The change will stuck and modify the numeration of the whole list.
