Would love a folder that lists notes that are untagged so you know which ones need to be filled later on

Do a search for @untagged. That'll find all of them.

    Hi John,

as Matthew suggested you can use the special search @untagged to find all the untagged notes. In the future we want to allow users to move special searched in the sidebar, this will allow an untagged "folder".

    It would be very handy to get untagged notes in one click instead of typing @ u n t a g g e d. I need a folder "@untagged"

Oh wow - this is awesome - didn't know you could do a search for @untagged. I guess I didn't read Bear Pro welcome document because I saw there is @todo and @task which solves another one of my feature requests. 

Another vote for having @untagged in the sidebar. It could also be called "Inbox". The fact that there's no tag suggests that the notes are waiting to be processed.

In the meantime, is there a way to use the URL scheme to quickly display a list of all untagged notes? If this is possible, my plan is to tie this to a keyboard shortcut

'Plan B' would be to use Keyboard Maestro (Mac) to provide a quick way to view untagged notes.

yes, the current version has an untagged section available under Notes in the sidebar (Click/Tap on the arrow to show the Notes related elements).
