I think I replied to some other thread or on Reddit. After various tests we realized, the result we are aiming for tables (Apple Notes) is not attainable with the current iOS/MacOS API set. Most of the problems come from the impossibility to have a good horizontal scrolling inside an iOS (but also MacOS have some problems) textView. Horizontal scrolling is essential because otherwise, a table to wider than the monitor will be broke into not required rows (because of line wrapping).
We decided to wait for next WWDC (in a month) in order to wait for possible new API development.
In taking notes for a meeting, I made a table using standard Markdown syntax since it would just be easier for me to note the table in MD then convert to a table in Word later. It would be great if I could just make the table in MD then export meeting minutes directly to PDF with Bear's styling. I'm still a loyal Bear user since I find it to be the best local solution for my needs, but table support would make it the perfect app for my needs.
