Mac stopped syncing

I have Bear on Mac, iPad and iPhone. After some initial trouble, they were all syncing fine.

Then I launch the Mac version and it only has a handful of notes, rather than thousands. But it claims to be syncing. If I create a note on Mac, it does not sync to iPad and iPhone. If I create a note on the other devices, they sync between themselves.

I deleted the Mac application and the data in ~/Library. I reinstalled the Mac app and watched the logs folder. It seemed to be getting data from the server, and then stopped. Nothing changed in the interface. So the Mac app is empty, apart from the note I created in it.

I've enclosed the last two logs.

    Hi Christopher,

maybe is something connected to Bear preferences, please try this

    • Quit Bear

    • Delete everything in ~/Library/Containers/net.shinyfrog.bear/

    • Run this command in killall cfprefsd

    • Re-open Bear

This will reset your Bear preferences and database, let me know if ti sync correctly after this.

    Thanks, that worked.

I’m sure you’re as fed up with the sync problems as we are. I hope
things settle down. I love the interface, but the combination of
unreliable sync and no direct access to text files has made me jumpy.

    Best wishes with future versions.

Still having big issues with sycning on mac.

Preferences show never synced and that's after following the instructions above.

I'm connected to internet and logged into iCloud just fine.

Really not sure what the deal is
