Hide format tags? (H1, *text*, /text/, etc.)

Is there any way to hide the formatting tags? I would like to be able to see the text totally plain, i.e. without "H1" before heading 1, the stars before and after bold text, and so on.

If this is currently not an option, could it be an idea for future updates?

+1 to toggle this on and off. I don't necessarily want to always read the formatting while I'm proofing my work, I just want to see it is going to look how I expect it to upon export

+1 for switching off markup. The only issue I really have with the app. It interrupts the reading experience.
