Hi! I'm a maths student and I rely on LaTeX a lot for my maths documents. Having LaTeX rendering support on this app would make it much more useful for me. Thanks!

right now LaTeX is not our top priority, but we'll think about it in the future.

I was actually considering jumping ship from Evernote + Marxico.

Not having LaTeX essentially kills the idea. Which is sad.

Hi, I just want to second Jose and Don's interest. I think you may underestimate the number of people willing to pay for a markdown note taking system which supports LaTeX equations. As far as I know, there is no good tool for this currently.

Here are a few groups of people:
    - math, science, and engineering students and especially researchers - data scientists collaborating - computer scientists already familiar with md - me, Jose, and Don!

I third this. It would make Bear a killer app for those of us who need note-taking for scientific/mathematical purposes. Currently I use the Gollum wiki for this sort of thing, since it is markdown/git based and supports math rendering using Latex (typing \( starts math mode and \) ends it.)

If Bear had this, I could switch all of my notes over. As it stands, I can't.
