I have some long notes and need to be able to search effectively, within these individual notes.
I am searching within a long note, as follows:

1. Select tag (sidebar)
2. Select note (middle pane)
3. Click inside selected note (right pane)
4. CMD + F
5. Enter search keyword/s in the search bar (top of note - right pane)
6. Note has a grey tint and hits are highlighted

Is this the correct way of searching within a long note?
Many thanks in advance.

    Hi,

Yes, on MacOS you can also use the search in the middle panel as the search terms will be mirrored inside the note(s), but generally speaking, you have to select a note and hit ⌘F or Edit -> Find -> Find...

    Cheers.
