Thank you so much for getting us the ability to globally sort our notes.
I sorted my notes by creation date, and immediately my journal notebook
(Kind of the way you feel when you're really thirsty and then you drink
from a tall glass of water, you know?)
Just one thing...
I have lots of notebooks, (not just a daily log) and would love the ability
to sort each notebook individually.
By creation date is great for a daily log, but some notebooks are for
projects and those notes need to be sorted manually.
Maybe you could add a little icon next to the new note button?
Like so? (please see attached.)
But, you know, make it more beautiful than my mockup. Bear Beautiful.
I love the app and use it, quite literally, every day.
Thanks again for the updated ability to sort notes. It truly does make Bear
even more of a pleasure to use.

Adding my vote for manual sorting. Already love Bear and manual sorting would let me develop entire documents in Bear. Right now, that’s the only area where Ulysses has the edge and let’s me sort a document and fully prepar it for printing as a PDF export. Bear is better in every other way and I’d love to stay in Bear.
I'm using Bear to outline a manuscript. Bear is a great outliner, but as I develop my outlines they get long and cumbersome. So, I've started chopping them up into separate sections. But then I want to rearrange the sections. The only way I can do that now is to sort by title and change the titles. It could be done so much more easily with manual sorting.
I can do manual sorting in Ulysses, which is where I actually do the writing, but Ulysses is not nearly as good for outlining as Bear. So, I'm hoping you can help me out and incorporate this feature in the near future.
Thanks! I recommend Bear to every tired Evernote user I meet.
