Would it possible to add native support for pinning the app to the menu bar and completely hiding it from the dock?
Clicking on the icon in the menu bar could show a list of notes in the inbox and you could either open an existing note, create a new note or open a full Bear app? Or something like that.

    Hi,

these options are not available in Bear.app, but a Bear's user developed Bear Claw: An external app which stays in the menu bar and communicates with Bear. Its functionalities are not exactly the same you suggested, but you can give it a shot.

Yes, I saw that. I was rather wondering about native support for "pin to menubar" and "hide from dock" functionality.
Maybe this could added as feature request?

    Hi,

Yes, we'll take it into consideration as a possible future enhancement.

    Cheers.
