Applescript support (even just a little) for Bear

I use Alfred to automate tons of things on my mac. While additional applescript support would be appreciated, I'd like to at least be able to tell Bear where to move its window (e.g., move it between monitors, maximize it, etc.). I've already got scripts to do this for Chrome, Sublime Text, etc. and would like to do the same with Bear.

Any chance we could get support for positioning Bear's window?

tell application "Bear"
    set the bounds of first window to {100, 50, 1500, 100}
end tell

Apologies if this is already supported, but it doesn't appear to be working for me.

    Hi Burke,

    Bear does not have AS support and I think moving the main window is not possible as well. Some users have requested AS support since Bear release but sadly does not seem very used these days.

    Maybe "Moom window manager" can fit the bill:

    Very frustrating. Just tried moving Bear via scripts again, failed, and then remembered this conversation.

    Bear doesn't need to support any fancy scripting. Just expose it's window to scripts by bundling a basic scripting definition (.sdef) property list. Google can get you to tutorials like this one.
